I imagined a terrible fight between mice and a cat on the fully laid table that ruins everything on the table. The scenes are expressed in detailed drawing. |
![]() SilenceThe city, a civilization that was fallen long ago due to war, keeps silence in contrast to its energetic past. The scenery that is desolate yet is moving into a harmonious state with the nature is expressed in the concept of animation background. It was drawn in detail, and then coloring pencils were used to give just the overall feel of colors. | ![]() ChangeIt is difficult to keep one position for a long time. In Korea, many shops often change in one or two years. Seeing how the signs on a street I always pass by change, I put onto the scene those signs that came and went so far. | ![]() Still-life PaintingI painted a still-life painting, divided it into two and expressed each in different senses of color. I first drew in pencil and colored them in pastel on top. Then I expressed the lines in conte. |
![]() Self-Portrait10 x 15 in color acrylic on paper I expressed what I like – cinema films, dolls, painting, cakes, flowers, and toys I played with in child hood – by cutting them out from magazines and collaging them, and then I re-painted on the top with acrylic paint to express my portrait through the combination. | ![]() Collage10 x 15 in mixed media | ![]() Bloom 1Photoshop I made my own writing into the storyboard. A hedgehog, seeing a cactus with a flower, thinks that it would like to have a flower grow on his back. So it puts its back towards the sun alongside the cactus and receives the sunlight. Then the hedgehog meets a bee that has come looking for nectar, and the hedgehog shares with the new friend its wish. |
![]() Bloom 2So the bee puts nectar on the back of the hedgehog so that butterflies come and make it look as if there is a blooming flower on the back of hedgehog. This story was born from the thought that, as a hedgehog and cactus look similar, the hedgehog might want to bloom a flower. I drew the sketch with Photoshop, and expressed the colors suitable for the mood. | ![]() Bloom mood board10 x 15 in Mixed media This is a mood board to express in advance the mood of the work Bloom. I made a light drawing, pasted materials on the drawing paper and then expressed the colors in acrylic paint. | ![]() MonsterStyrofoam, acrylic, clay and needles |

The rumor among people tells that the world behind the door is a paradise. This is a set design based on that background story. This was expressed by a combination including clay, tissue, acrylic paint and foam board. | ![]() Approval of posterized portraitGouache, Bristol |
